Moving in to campus housing can be stressful for incoming students and their families. UCF’s volunteer Move-in Ambassadors can make a big difference by providing a warm welcome and extra help.
Applications are being sought through Aug. 5 for faculty, staff, students and organizations that want to support more than 12,000 students and their families as they settle in UCF Housing and Residence Life for the 2019-20 academic year.
Move-in Ambassadors help in ways that can include providing directions, offering refreshments, loading and unloading items, and answering questions about UCF and campus life.
Participants will assist during UCF’s move-in dates for students, which are Wednesday, Aug. 21, at UCF Downtown for the new UnionWest housing and on Friday, Aug. 23, and Saturday, Aug. 24, for the main campus.
