Welcome to fall! The Faculty Excellence team looks forward to serving as a resource for you as we work together to elevate academic excellence and student success.
As we kick off the new academic year, we invite you to join UCF leaders and colleagues from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday (Aug. 15) at the Cape Florida Ballroom of the Student Union for the Faculty Assembly and Reception and from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday in front of Millican Hall for the President’s Welcome Back Popsicle Social.
Here are other important details to know before classes start on Monday.

Course Accessibility
All courses must be accessible to every student. Please visit UCF’s new Accessibility website for tips, tools, and best practices for creating accessible learning experiences. For questions or guidance, work with the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning, the Center for Distributed Learning, or Student Accessibility Services.
Also, students sign up for the courses and modalities that are most beneficial to them. Faculty may not change the modality of their courses.
Thank you for the many ways you advance UCF, and best wishes for a successful and rewarding year ahead.
