Dear Faculty Colleagues:
It is time to prepare for seeking UCF’s internal faculty awards. Excellence Awards, Research Incentive Awards, Pegasus Professor, and Reach for the Stars awards all have deadlines this fall. Please see the Faculty Internal Awards page for eligibility, criteria, and applicable dates.
Note that Excellence Awards and Research Incentive Awards materials will be submitted as PDFs and uploaded using Interfolio, a new software for faculty to help simplify processes such as awards applications. More information about this tool is coming soon.
For now, please notify your college dean’s office about any awards you plan to pursue so they may provide access to Interfolio. Faculty members in the College of Undergraduate Studies, College of Graduate Studies, UCF Libraries, Division of Digital Learning, UCF Global, institutes, and centers should notify Faculty Excellence of intent to apply at FacultyExcellence@UCF.edu. Please include the name of the award(s) sought and access to Interfolio will be provided.
Interfolio will be open to accept materials for Excellence Awards starting October 2 and for Research Incentive Awards beginning November 6.
If you are interested in the Pegasus Professor or Reach for the Stars awards, review the criteria and confer about the next steps with your dean’s office or the leadership in your unit.
