This is a reminder that faculty will use Interfolio academic software this fall to submit materials for some internal awards and requests for sabbaticals, emeritus status, and the Professional Development Program.
Award application materials will be uploaded into the new digital system for the following:
- Excellence Awards
- Sabbaticals
- In-unit Professional Development Program
- Emeritus
- Research Incentive Award (RIA)
If you plan to pursue any of these awards or programs this fall, please notify your dean’s office or division leadership to be given access to Interfolio. Once you are given access, you will receive an email that you can begin your application. You will log in using your NID and password. This website offers an instructional video and other information about Interfolio and this process.

The Faculty Excellence website has details about internal awards, sabbaticals, Professional Development Program, and emeritus faculty items. If you are not applying for any of the awards or programs noted for fall, there is nothing you need to do now regarding Interfolio.
We are excited about integrating Interfolio as a faculty support system for many other uses in the future.
