Boosting Student Success Through Timely Grade Submissions

Dear Faculty Colleagues,

Student success is at the heart of everything we do. Achieving a 60% four-year graduation rate for FTIC students — our final step for preeminence and the unlocking of additional state resources — relies on the important role you play in supporting students academically, in research, and beyond.

As we approach the end of the semester, I’m asking for your help with one critical request: Please submit final grades by noon on Wednesday, Dec. 11.

Timely grade submissions are essential for several reasons:

  • They help ensure students graduate smoothly as planned.
  • They allow our academic success coaches to quickly adjust students’ schedules for the spring semester.
  • They prevent delays in registration due to a missing (late) grade in a prerequisite course.

Because of UCF’s winter break, the team has a very short window to help all our students. Getting grades in on time is a great help. Instructions are forthcoming from the Registrar’s Office.
