Knight Vision Launch Coming July 1

July 1 marks a business practices transformation through Knight Vision that has been nearly two years in the making.

After almost two years of intense work on Knight Vision, we are excited to launch later this week. Both Workday and the implementation of our new Service Enhancement Transformation (SET) business services model will go live this Friday, July 1.

As the president shared last week, this is an important next step in the Knight Vision program. July 1 is not an end; it is a beginning, and we know that not everything will be perfect on day one. Our commitment to you is that as issues arise, they will be resolved expeditiously. We ask for your continued cooperation, feedback and, most of all, patience.

The most critical processes, such as payroll and purchasing, are in good shape. We anticipate that the hiring process may be a bit more challenging in the coming weeks, and you may see some delays as we continue to improve staffing and support. We will continue to be transparent and communicate with the campus community throughout the transition. Many of you have been taking Workday training; if you have not, it is imperative that you do it as soon as possible ahead of July 1.

During the transition process, we invite you to provide feedback and let us know about any issues you experience. Please email knightvision@ucf.edu, and we will work to resolve any issues as soon as possible.

This is a team effort, and we want to thank the many people who committed so much time and talent to make this a reality. These changes will help build a foundation for our entire community to reach our fullest potential. You have done remarkable work, and we are deeply grateful.

Go Knights! Charge On!
