I am pleased to announce the reappointment of Jeff Moore as dean of the College of Arts and Humanities.
Under Dean Moore’s leadership, the college’s faculty and programs are steadily becoming more academically robust. He and his college demonstrate an authentic concern for the diversity of the human experience and a commendable entrepreneurial spirit. Innovations such as the Themed Experience program immediately place the college in position to be a national leader in novel areas.
Dean Moore joined UCF in 1994 as the university’s first full-time percussion professor and served in several administrative roles prior to his appointment as dean of the College in Arts and Humanities in 2016.
His reappointment follows an extensive five-year performance review of him and the college by a committee that included faculty, student, and staff representation. I am grateful for their help.
