Colleagues:
I am writing to share that Vice President and Chief Information Officer Matthew Hall informed me this week of his decision to step away from UCF to serve as Chief Information Officer at Texas State University.
Matt has provided critical leadership to UCF IT during a period filled with numerous transformative projects to improve our critical services and operations. I know we all appreciate everything he has done for the university and for the IT community at UCF, and I wish him well on his future endeavors in Texas.
Matt’s last day at UCF will be November 15. Please join me in thanking him for his service to our faculty, staff, and students.
An Interim Chief Information Officer will soon be appointed, and we will keep the university community updated on next steps as we search for the next leader of this important division.
