Updating You On Knight Vision

UCF leaders offer a progress report on the Knight Vision system that launched July 1 for better campus business practices.

The launch of Knight Vision on July 1 went well, but as expected, there are still issues that require our attention.
We appreciate your feedback and patience as we continue to stand up these new systems, and we are committed to transparency and open communication about issues and progress.
We continue to ask for grace, patience, and kindness as the many dedicated people who are part of this project work to resolve issues and support your priorities.
During this startup period, the staff in the new business centers and the central Knight Vision team have focused on the critical processes, such as payroll and purchasing, and are working hard to identify and resolve issues quickly. We anticipated that the hiring process would be more challenging, and our priority is shifting to the hiring impacts and delays that users have reported. Our central teams and unit leaders are working through solutions to eliminate roadblocks and address slowdowns. We are seeing progress towards accelerating the hiring process.
We want to thank the many people who continue to support this transition with their time and talent. We are deeply grateful for your work and dedication. We have seen over 43,000 processes initiated in Workday since launch, with most completed in three days or less. We know you have submitted more than 6,600 help cases, and the teams have worked diligently to assist and resolve them. Our payroll team processed both payrolls in Workday with higher accuracy than before we went live, and we are seeing that supplier invoice payments now take an average time of two days. Your input and feedback and the response of our dedicated KnightVision team continue to drive these results.
We invite you to provide feedback and let us know about any issues you experience. Please call the Knights Experience Team (kNEXT) at (407) 823-6398 or submit a Workday Help Case, and we will work to resolve any issues as soon as possible.
The Knight Vision training resources continue to be updated, and new training for faculty will start this week and continue through September. We continue to encourage you to review and participate in Workday training; if you have not, please begin to do so.
This massive change remains a team effort, and we are tremendously grateful to the many people who support the Knight Vision transition. You have our deepest thanks.
