Save the dates: Vice President Candidate Open Forums
A university search committee is reviewing applications for UCF’s inaugural Vice President of Equity, Inclusion and Diversity and expects to announce finalists for the position by Friday with campus visits to begin next week.
The new vice president will lead and organize an infrastructure to foster community engagement, develop partnerships to bring about transformative change and identify and support target areas to maximize inclusive excellence at UCF. The vice president will develop an institutional framework for equity, inclusion, and diversity that supports the university’s mission and strategic plan, ensuring the pillars of equity, inclusion, and diversity are embedded at all levels.
Each finalist will visit UCF to meet with members of the campus community. Your feedback is important to this process, so please hold the following times and dates and plan to attend open forums with each candidate:
- Candidate 1: Tuesday, January 22, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., FAIRWINDS Alumni Center, Grand Ballroom
- Candidate 2: Wednesday, January 23, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., FAIRWINDS Alumni Center, Grand Ballroom
- Candidate 3: Thursday, January 24, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., FAIRWINDS Alumni Center, Grand Ballroom
- Candidate 4: Friday, January 25, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., FAIRWINDS Alumni Center, Grand Ballroom
