Biography

Dr. Paige Borden is the chief analytics officer for the University of Central Florida. She is responsible for designing, developing and leading enterprise analytics for UCF. Borden leads the Division of Analytics and Integrated Planning, including Enterprise Analytics, Institutional Research and Workday Reporting’s Center of Excellence.

Borden focuses on guiding the university’s analytics strategy, increasing data literacy and fostering data-informed decision-making. Her focus is on engaging with stakeholders to provide the necessary tools to monitor and improve university performance. Borden’s umbrella of activities includes leadership for university accountability, student predictive analytics initiatives, decision-support intelligence and state and federal reporting. She also provides leadership and vision for UCF’s efforts to achieve its strategic plan, preeminence and performance-based funding graduation rate goals.

Active and respected in her field, Borden has recently completed service to the Association of Governing Board’s Council on Student Success, the national Association for Institutional Research’s Board of Directors (parliamentarian, chair for the Future of Institutional Research Committee, and Ethics 2020 subcommittee) and the Association for Institutional Research’s Nominations and Elections Committee (inaugural chair for the 2023-24 year). Other professional roles include serving as treasurer on the executive board of the Southern Association for Institutional Researchers and as a two-term president of the Florida Association for Institutional Research.

A Florida native, Borden has more than 30 years of experience in higher education. She earned a bachelor’s in international affairs from Florida State University and her MBA and doctorate in higher education leadership from UCF.
